 \nThe Annual Design X Design Award honours contributions made by discernin

 ity of designers and civil society.\nThis year's Design X Design Award 202
 5 goes to Ms. Jaya Jaitly for the work done by her in guiding the design a
 nd marketing at Gurjari\, and by contributing to bringing craftspeople in 
 direct contact with urban markets by setting up Dastkari Haat Samiti resul
 ting in the creation of public spaces for craft outreach in many Indian ci
 ties. It also acknowledges her passion for taking up causes of the margina
 lized\, especially of the hand skilled.\n
