  Lane\, Lodhi Estate\, New Delhi - 110003\n\n\n\nAbout the Exhibition :-\n
\nIn Another Green explores the dynamics of colonialism in Israel through
the theme of nature. It borrows its title from ‘Preliminary Background R
emarks’ a poem by the Algeria-born Israeli poet Erez Biton that accentua
tes the disintegration of Eastern Jewish traditions in Israel and the poet
’s conflicted cultural position. The artworks on display engage with the
binary opposition of culture and nature that shapes the colonial matrix o
f power and with the perception that para-modern societies are closer to n
ature.\n\nAbout the Artists :-\n\nLeor Grady is an Israeli-born visual art
ist. His conceptual\, sculptural\, threaded and video works explore themes
of home and identity politics. Through various mediums he subversively re
positions everyday objects\, concepts\, and experiences to imbue them with
poetic meaning. His work has been shown in Israel\, the USA and abroad.\n
 \nYosef Joseph Yaakov Dadoune\, born April 24\, 1975 in Nice\, is a French
-Israeli artist working at the intersection of video\, photography\, perfo
rmance\, drawing\, architecture and social action. In his work\, Joseph Da
doune is interested in the tensions between East and West\, between religi
ous and secular life\, between centralized power and periphery\, and betwe
en real and imaginary. His works also resonates with issues related to col
onialism\, gender and identity. Joseph Dadoune has participated in over 20
0 solo and group exhibitions all over the world. In 2017\, he was felicita
ted with a Knight of Arts and Letters by the French Minster of Culture.\n\
