 eaf woman\, and her hearing friend Surbhi\, a child of Deaf adults (CODA)\
 , have distinct relationships with Indian Sign Language (ISL)—Surbhi lea
 rned ISL before any spoken language\, while Charu learned it later in life
 . Empowered by ISL\, Charu strives to build a community of independent\, e
 mpowered Deaf women in India through her feminist forum\, “Deaf Women To
 o\,” aiming to reshape societal perspectives for inclusivity. Surbhi\, a
 n interpreter bridging the Deaf and hearing worlds\, is now exploring her 
 own identity beyond caregiving. The documentary "If I Could Tell You\," cr
 eated with artist Pakhi Sen\, broadens the discussion on language’s role
  in human experience\, featuring performances and interviews with diverse 
 artists and showcasing India's first original ISL poem by a Deaf poet\, bl
 ending animation and artistic performances to push storytelling boundaries
