 in Rolland\, Alliance Française de Delhi\nSujata Bajaj is a leading India
 n contemporary artist whose practice is shaped by abstraction\, surface\, 
 and colour\, and informed by a long-standing dialogue between Indian sensi
 bilities and European modernist traditions. Trained at the École National
 e Supérieure des Beaux-Arts\, Paris\, her work spans painting\, printmaki
 ng\, and drawing\, and has been exhibited widely in India and internationa
 lly.\n\nHer recent body of work\, Spacescapes\, is a mature series develop
 ed over six years of sustained engagement\, exploring inner and cosmic spa
 ces through layered textures\, rhythmic movement\, and immersive colour fi
 elds. These paintings resist immediacy\, inviting prolonged viewing and of
 fering a contemplative experience shaped by time\, process\, and perceptio
 n.\n\nPresented at Alliance Française de Delhi\, this exhibition marks Su
 jata Bajaj’s first major presentation of abstract works in the city afte
 r a hiatus of fifteen years. Rooted in a continuing cultural exchange betw
 een India and France\, the exhibition invites viewers to encounter Spacesc
 apes as a meditative journey through space\, colour\, and lived artistic e
 xperience.\n\n
