Stories create magic and a sense of wonder. Stories teach us about life, ourselves and others. A good storytelling session enhances both one’s imagination while taking you on an adventure.

As part of #LibraryFest2021, join the network of Alliances françaises in India/Nepal and the French Institute in India for a storytelling series conducted by Aliette Lauginie.

Get ready to join us on  17th September at 4:00 PM for an amazing session.

Aliette Lauginie first encountered the art of storytelling more than 30 years ago when she was a librarian. Lauginie is also a teacher of French as a Foreign Language (FLE), and finds that fairy tales are wonderful tools to build self-expression in a foreign language, be it oral or written. She has co-authored the textbook “Il était une fois des contes” (Once upon a time, there were fairy tales), published by the Presses Universitaires de Grenoble and used widely by FLE teachers and students in order to strengthen their skills in written and oral comprehension.
