To Da Bone, a ground breaking performance by La Horde and the Ballet National de Marseille, that delves into the intimate revolts of youth and the transformative power of movement. Set in a world where revolutions ignite at night and laws are voted by day, To Da Bone explores the new forms rebellion can take in the age of social media. Drawing inspiration from the Hardstyle movement and “post-internet” dance forms, the performance highlights dynamic styles such as Jumpstyle, Tekstyle, Shuffle, and Hakken.
The performance is followed by a set by DJ Avantika.
About La Horde & Ballet National de Marseille:
La Horde, founded in 2013, is a collective that explores contemporary dance and art through the lens of online communities, challenging traditional artistic forms and questioning the boundaries of dance in the digital age. The Ballet National de Marseille, under the direction of La Horde since 2019, brings this vision to life with their transformative and collaborative approach to dance.
