Ipshita, meaning “desired”, captures the longing felt by those forced into exile—the yearning for home, the memories of what was, and the dreams of what could have been. It also reflects the deep desire to rebuild, reinvent, and rediscover the meaning of home and belonging.
At the heart of the celebration is the Refugee Artisan Market & Exhibition—a vibrant, interactive space that brings together refugee entrepreneurs and artisans to share their craft, culture, and stories.
