About the Film:
Albert, a reformed alcoholic, swears never to drink again if he and his wife survive the war. After the war, however, he struggles to keep his promise. Things take an unexpected turn when he meets Gabriel, a young man drowning in alcohol and torn between his drinking habits and the hope of reconciling with his daughter. Determined to help, Albert joins Gabriel on one last nostalgic drinking spree—leading to a whirlwind of madcap chaos.
