Every November, Novembre Numérique (Digital November), led by the Institut français and its global network, celebrates digital cultures in all their forms. For its 2025 edition, Alliance Française de Delhi invites you to a captivating film series delving into the intersection of humanity and technology — where the virtual meets the real.

Screening Schedule 

14 November – Knit’s Island (1h35)
Somewhere on the internet exists a vast 250 km² space where individuals gather to simulate a survivalist fiction. Disguised as avatars, a film crew enters this virtual world to uncover who these inhabitants really are — and whether they are merely playing a game or living a parallel life.

21 November 

  • Alexx196 & la Plage de Sable Rose (Short film – 24 min)
    Alex and Sacha are devastated by the shutdown of an online video game where they became friends. Determined to meet in real life, they embark on a journey to complete the unfinished story that connected them.

  • Arthur Rambo (1h27)
    Who is Karim D.? A promising young writer or “Arthur Rambo,” his online alias known for posting hateful messages? This gripping story explores the duality of identity and accountability in the age of social media.

 28 November – Alphaville (1h50)
A cult sci-fi classic by Jean-Luc Godard. Secret agent Lemmy Caution is sent to Alphaville — a dystopian city ruled by logic and stripped of emotion. His mission: destroy the omnipotent computer Alpha 60 and restore humanity’s lost capacity to feel.
