The Lycée Français International de Delhi is part of the network of French-curriculum schools run by the Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger (AEFE). Our students include local children as well as children of expatriate professionals and diplomats.
We are now looking for an Education Assistant (Assistant d’éducation) to join our team.
Position details
- Location: Delhi, India
- Start date: 2 November 2026 to 30 June 2027, renewable if needed
- Working hours: 6 hours per week, with additional hours if required
- Salary: Based on grade, qualification and/or experience
Key responsibilities
Supervising and guiding students
- Supervise students in common areas such as the playground, canteen, corridors, study hall and exits
- Ensure the school rules and safety instructions are followed
- Ensure students’ safety during school trips, outings and outdoor activities
- Support students during study time and help maintain a calm, work-friendly atmosphere
Monitoring school life
- Track student attendance and punctuality, and manage absences and late arrivals
- Welcome, listen to and support students
- Help resolve and prevent conflicts
- Take part in educational, citizenship and cultural projects
Working with the educational teams
- Work closely with the CPE (Conseiller Principal d’Éducation), teachers and school management
- Attend school life meetings
- Contribute to a consistent educational approach across the school community
Who we are looking for
- A Bachelor’s degree level qualification (Bac +3)
- Knowledge of the French education system
- French language skills at B2 level
- A good listener who can combine kindness with authority
- A team player who can handle conflict situations calmly
- Discreet, reliable and responsible
- A good understanding of students and educational challenges.
