By proceeding with AFD’s online registration or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Alliance Française de Delhi (AFD).
AFD reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes shall become effective immediately upon publication on the AFD website. Users are responsible for reviewing the latest version before using AFD’s services. The decision of AFD Management on all matters shall be final and binding.
Privacy Policy
Alliance Française de Delhi values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
Collection and Use of Information
The personal information provided during registration, including your name, mobile number, email address, and other relevant details, will be used for:

Course registration and administration.

Communication regarding your classes, examinations, and academic activities.

Sending important announcements, updates, notices, and administrative communications.

Informing you about AFD events, workshops, cultural programmes, promotional offers, and other relevant activities.
By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you expressly consent to receive communications from AFD via email, SMS, telephone, or other electronic means.

Payment Information
AFD does not collect, process, or store your debit card, credit card, or banking details. All online payments are securely processed through the payment gateway provided by the authorized banking partner.
Terms & Conditions
1. Course Information
Alliance Française de Delhi provides classroom-based and online French language learning programmes.

The standard duration of a course is approximately 3.5 months.

Existing students are eligible to register for the next level only after successfully completing and passing their current level.

AFD shall always conduct its classes in accordance with applicable Government of India guidelines, whether classes are delivered online or offline.
2. Online Payments
All online payments are subject to the following conditions:

All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).

Any applicable transaction charges, payment gateway charges, bank charges, taxes, or government levies shall be borne by the student.

AFD cannot be held responsible if a payment is declined or refused by the issuing bank or card provider for any reason.

If a payment is declined, AFD is under no obligation to notify the user. Students are advised to verify the transaction status directly with their bank or payment service provider.

The payment gateway may decline certain card types or payment methods based on its own policies.

AFD does not guarantee compatibility of its website with every hardware device, browser, or software configuration.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFD shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, its website or online payment facility.
3. Batch Management
AFD reserves the right to suspend, postpone, merge, modify, or cancel any batch due to administrative, academic, operational, or unforeseen circumstances.
If AFD cancels a batch, students will be offered one of the following options:

Transfer to another available batch of the same level; or
-
Refund of the course fee if a suitable transfer option is not accepted or available.
4. Online Classes
Students attending online classes agree to the following:

The student’s video camera must remain switched on during online sessions unless otherwise permitted by the instructor.

To maintain classroom interaction and academic quality, AFD does not provide recordings, make-up classes, or backup sessions for classes missed by students.
5. Refund and Transfer Policy
AFD maintains a strict refund and transfer policy.

Refunds are issued only when AFD’s Academic Department cancels a batch and no suitable alternative batch is accepted by the student.

No refund or transfer will be granted if the student cancels or withdraws from the course for any reason.

AFD does not offer trial classes. Attendance in even a single class does not qualify the student for a refund.

If a student is unable to attend the enrolled batch due to personal reasons and has not informed AFD through the prescribed email communication channel before the batch commencement date, the student shall not be entitled to any refund or transfer except as provided under the Batch Management clause.
6. Security

AFD does not collect or retain any payment card information.

Online payments are processed through secure banking and payment gateway systems.

Students are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their devices while making online payments.

AFD shall not be liable for any loss resulting from inaccurate information submitted by the user or from unauthorized access caused by the user’s failure to safeguard their personal information during the payment process.
7. General Provisions

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

AFD reserves the right to amend its policies, fees, academic regulations, schedules, and operational procedures whenever necessary.

The interpretation of these Terms & Conditions shall rest solely with Alliance Française de Delhi, whose decision shall be final.
