About the Programme
The Assistants d’anglais programme places Indian applicants in French schools for a 7-month paid work contract, beginning October 2026 and ending April 2027. It is designed to strengthen linguistic and cultural exchange between India and France while offering emerging professionals real-world teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist English teachers in classroom activities
- Facilitate oral practice and interactive sessions
- Contribute to cultural exchange activities and student engagement
- Introduce French students to Indian culture and contemporary society through speaking / oral activities
Contract Details
- Duration: 7 months (Oct 2026 – Apr 2027)
- Location: Assigned primary or secondary school in France
- Workload: 12 hours of classroom engagement per week
- Remuneration: As per France Éducation International standards
