Celebrate PRIDE Month at Alliance Française de Delhi

Join us as we celebrate PRIDE Month at Alliance Française de Delhi with two French movie screenings that explore themes of identity, love, and social change.

“Three Nights a Week” / Trois nuits par semaine
Date: 12th June 2025
Time: 6:30 PM
Venue: M.L. Bhartia Auditorium, Alliance Française de Delhi

Baptiste, caught in a relationship with Samia, finds his world turned upside down when he meets Cookie Kunty, a magnetic young drag queen from the Parisian scene. What begins as a photography project quickly turns into an emotional journey as Baptiste immerses himself into the world of drag, identity, and love, ultimately forming a relationship with Quentin, the man behind Cookie Kunty. A visually stunning and emotionally charged film, Trois nuits par semaine explores love in all its complexity and beauty.

“The Divide” / La Fracture
Date: 19th June 2025
Time: 6:30 PM
Venue: M.L. Bhartia Auditorium, Alliance Française de Delhi

On the night of a Yellow Vest protest in Paris, Raf and Julie, a couple on the verge of breaking up, find themselves at a breaking point in the chaotic emergency room of a Parisian hospital. There, they encounter Yann, an injured and angry demonstrator. As the night unfolds, their own personal crises collide with the political and social tensions around them, pushing all of them to confront their own prejudices, assumptions, and vulnerabilities. La Fracture is a timely film that captures the emotional and societal fractures of modern life.

Pride Month is a time to celebrate love, identity, and the ongoing fight for equality and acceptance. Through these film screenings, we aim to showcase stories that challenge traditional norms and embrace the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. At Alliance Française de Delhi, we continue to stand with the LGBTQ+ community in their pursuit of dignity, equality, and respect for all.
