Quebec has emerged as a dynamic force in the global comic book industry. Prof. Vijaya Rao (Centre for French & Francophone Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University) will join Prof. Sylvain Lemay (Université du Québec en Outaouais) and Dr. Anna Giaufret (University of Genoa, Italy) to examine the distinct themes, evolving trends, and devoted readership of Quebec’s comic art, highlighting what sets it apart from comic traditions elsewhere.
