Directed by Zornitza Sophia. 2008. 97 min.
Margarita leaves London and the famous reporter Marco Matanich to join her brother who is going windsurfing to a Turkish island with his friends from different Balkan countries. It all starts as a nice holiday but what happens when the Forecast is not good? Suddenly, the wind is no longer there and they can’t surf. Having nothing to do, the men start fighting over the nationalistic issues. Now they speak only in English to “better understand each other”. In an attempt to impress Margarita, Marco shoots them in a controversial reportage entitled “Who tells lies on the Balkans?” Quoted by a leading newspaper the reportage provokes a conflict between the Balkan countries. The friends start building “national borders” to separate their tents while Margarita disappears in the open sea. Will they find her and will they finally find peace with each other? It depends on their ability to give love and to accept that love is the key…
