Francophonie Football Tournament
A special football tournament in which teams from different French speaking countries will participate. If you want to spend a festive moment around the round ball where laughter and good humour will be the keywords, you are welcome!
We are very excited to present our much-awaited Méla on 11th March 2023. This Méla day will be a unique introduction to the universe of Francophonie, through a wide range of events, including film screenings, musical, dance, and theatrical performances.

As part of the Francophonie celebrations, Alliance Francaise de Delhi – Ciné Club in association with Institut Français organises special film screenings by famous French writer and filmmaker Marguerite Duras.
Marguerite Duras (1914-1996) is considered one of the most important literary figures of the 20th century. Her work often explores themes of love, loss, and memory, and is characterised by a spare, evocative prose style.
Duras’s work has been widely translated and has had a significant influence on contemporary literature and film. Her spare, poetic style and her exploration of themes such as memory and desire continue to resonate with readers and audiences around the world.

IAWRT Chapter India: 18th Asian Women’s Film Festival
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, IAWRT Chapter India in collaboration with Alliance Française de Delhi presents – A three day skilling workshop on Gender, Climate Change Intersectionalities “Climate Change……I’m living it” for women and girls from marginalized communities and very diverse backgrounds such as tribal, rural, urban, & student .
The three day workshop will be followed by the 2023 edition of the Asian Women’s Film Festival will be held at the India International Centre 15-17 March 2023, with a curation of film screenings, conversations and master classes. Know More…
