ANNE PACEO only 28 years old and an exceptional curse: drummer with Rhoda Scott, Henri Texier, China Moses or Mélissa Laveaux, she already published two cd’s as a leader and played more than 130 concerts in 15 countries with her trio Triphase, awarded by “Django d’Or 2009” and “Victoires du Jazz 2011”
She recorded her third album YÔKAÏ with nine pieces she brought back from her travels all over the world, writing the music from Rangoon to the Polar Circle, fitting perfectly to the musicians she chose for this quintet.
Antonin-Tri Hoang is one of the inspired young french reeds player.
Pierre Perchaud seems to “escape” easily form his guitar.
Stéphane Kerecki on the double bass is already known to bring the absolute precision.
Leonardo Montana, also pianist in the trio is a very fine melodist.
