Theatre: Zazie dans le metro : 3rd August 2016 | 6:00pm

August 3, 2016 @ 6:00 pm –

Le Club Théâtre de l’Alliance Française de Delhi presents its adaptation of the famous book by Raymond Queneau Zazie dans le metro. Theatre is an old tradition at AFD, we are happy to welcome you back to witness this surrealist and absurd play! The story takes place in Delhi, there will be boys wearing sparkling dresses, girls as boys, girls as girls but most importantly, Zazie, who gives a hard time to everybody around and does not let anyone stand in her way. Vulgar, stubborn and complainer, she has only one thing in mind, one obsession: LE METRO LE METRO LE METRO. Lovers of the original book, do not expect to find the eternal symbols of Paris because the cultural chock comes from the language itself, the one our students stammer between two hindi words and two kulfi eaten away at the local wala shop. If you feel curious, come and share with us this burlesque trip between two worlds!

Fascinated with composition since early childhood, he is the composer of numerous original works and transcriptions. Maxime Zecchini had the idea of exploring the left hand repertoire a few years ago when he first studied Ravel’s Concerto pour la main gauche.
