What to Expect on Test Day
The orientation test has two components, each assessing a different aspect of your French proficiency:
- Written Component: Conducted online through the Apolearn application on Monday, 24th August. This typically evaluates grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and written expression. Access instructions and login credentials for Apolearn will be emailed to registered candidates ahead of time.
- Oral Component: Conducted the next day, Tuesday, 25th August, either through a WhatsApp call or via Zoom on the online application. This assesses spoken fluency, pronunciation, and listening comprehension. Exact time slots for the oral test will be published on the official website closer to the date.
Since both components take place online, candidates should ensure they have a stable internet connection, a working device with camera and microphone access, and the Apolearn/Zoom/WhatsApp applications installed and ready ahead of the scheduled dates.
