Alliance Française de Delhi informs all candidates regarding TCF Canada September 2026 Exam Notice
The Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) Canada is an officially recognized language proficiency test required for immigration applications by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Please note:
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
- Candidates may take the test several times, allowing a minimum of 20 days between two exam sessions.
- The TCF Canada exam will be in a digital version and will be taken on a computer.
Note:
- Limited Seats: TCF Canada exam seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to high demand, seats often fill within minutes of registration opening, for both online and offline registration modes. Candidates registering online are strongly advised to create their registration account in advance, so they can complete the booking and payment process quickly once slots become available. For offline registration, please arrive at the AFD Reception just before the registration opening time.
- Waiting List: Candidates who successfully secure a seat will receive a registration confirmation email. If all seats are filled, your registration will be placed on a waiting list. In this case, please contact the Administration/Front Desk for assistance — they will help transfer your registration fee to the same exam date (subject to availability of additional seats) or to the next available TCF exam date.
- Registration Dates: Registration (online and offline mode) for both the 23rd September and 30th September exams will open on 9th September 2026, from 9:00 AM onwards.
